Secret Gardens Scene for Bali Recharging

Want to rewind and recharge on the Island of the Gods?  Bali has many styles of accommodation for yoga retreats and spa restorations, but if you want  more of a true Balinese experience – say something tucked away on a hidden plantation along a river on the way to the  beach – a bungalow haven might be right.

Villa Sanggah Bali
, a B&B comprised of two spacious and luxurious  bungalows that surround a refreshing pool inside lush gardens, is one such oasis – a place for healing, resting, and perhaps releasing your texting and blogging addictions.  (Yes, internet service is available even in the quietest of places like Batu Belig, but why bother when the beach beckons?  And the pool under the stars and moon?)

The very private bungalows are located at opposite ends of the magical gardens, available to rent by the week or month at less than you would expect. The bungalows are well-appointed with indigenous art and antiques, yet clean, comfortable and uncluttered.

Bungalow Bunga Melati (Jasmine Flower) has two bedrooms with queen beds, a large garden bath with two showers, a Japanese bathtub and private sunbathing area.

Bungalow Bunga Kecil (Small Flower) has one bedroom with a queen-size bed, lovely garden bath with a outdoor shower, and a Japanese bathtub. With private outdoor dining and a Balinese Bale, it is perfect for a couple, resident artist or yoga instructor.
