Staying Down by the Sea

Welcome to Villa Elanora.  That’s a Balinese name that means down by the sea.

Hidden near the beach in Canggu, the secluded Villa Elanora compound of two deluxe villas accents luxurious comfort with vistas of mountains, the sea and fragrant fields of Bali. These 3-bedroom houses and lush grounds are great if you want to do nothing at all. But once fully relaxed and rejuvenated, you may want to do something unique.

Voluntourism & Pampering

The Jodie O’Shea Orphanage is a non-profit “Care for Kids” organisation that depends solely on donations to support the children. It is funded purely by contributions from visitors and generous patrons (like Villa Elanora’s management).

The Rainbow Tourism concierge, Dee Farrell, paid a visit recently and donated food and clothing items on the wish list – but not her motor scooter (although one is on the list). “Consider a visit with the kids or doing a voluntourism project for an hour or so during your Balinese holiday. You’ll be helping to inspire the kids, too,” she says. Contact the Villa management team.

Afterwards, you can reward yourself with a dip in the ocean or dinner and drinks at the exclusive Canggu Club. Staying at Elanora resort provides complimentary access to Bali’s stylish international members club with world-class facilities and personalised service.
